Ubisoft’s marketing team has been busy this week, dropping some tidbits on the time frame and weapon designs of Assassin’s Creed 2 in a cryptic teaser then subsequently debuting the new stealthed protagonist Ezio on a preview of next months Game Informer cover.

According to GI the game is set to take place in Venice during the Renaissance.  Ezio, a young noble, lost his family in a fued with rival famlies.  Early hints where dropped in some mocked versions of da Vinci ’s journal sketches that Ezio will take out his target’s in the Italain City with dual wrsitblades which are also featured prominetly on the cover.  For more on AC2 grab May’s Issues of Game Informer on the 16th and check back here on m@m, as we’re sure Ubisoft is just getting started.  Cover and teaser below.
