The rumor being passed around lately is true, the cardboard tube samuari from the popular webcomic Penny Arcade will make a grand appearance…as an alternative costume for Yoshimitsu.  You can snag this digital outfit only by pre-ordering Tekken 6 at your local GameStop and getting a free calendar of the game in the process.  Screens of the costume and some other new photos below.

Ubisoft would like to let you know that Aassassin’s Creed 2, the sequel to the hot 2007 game that sold 8 million copies, will be hitting a retailer near you sometime this holiday season.

Namco Bandai has released some sweet new screens of the sixth installment for the Tekken series which you can scope out below.

Well, a vague release date.  Sega announced today in Tokyo their new IP, Bayonetta, will be hitting shelves worldwide Fall 2009 for both the Xbox 360 and and Playstation 3.  Hideki Kamiya, the mastermind behind Capcoms Devil May Cry Series, designed the new action platformer. Players control a witch named Bayonetta who stylishly utilizes a various handguns strapped to her body and performs magical attacks with her hair against monsters pretending to be angels. Ubisoft’s marketing team has been busy this week, dropping some tidbits on the time frame and weapon designs of Assassin’s Creed 2 in a cryptic teaser then subsequently debuting the new stealthed protagonist Ezio on a preview of next months Game Informer cover.
