Warner Bros. Pictures debuted the trailer on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” this morning and it can now be found all over the tubes including below or over at Apple for High Definition using QuickTime.  The teaser poster was also made its way to us earlier this week.

Based on the 1963 children’s book, written and illustrated by Maurice Sendak, Where the Wild Things Are stars Max Records as a young boy sent to his room without his supper.  Angry, he begins to imagine his surroundings turn into a jungle filled with large monsters who crown him king. The film, directed by Spike Jonze releases October 16, 2009 and features the song Wake Up by indie rock band Arcade Fire in the trailer.
